Briana S. Waters, AKA Briana Amr, (DOB: 11/24/75), is an eco-terrorist and ELF member who was part of the ELF cell "The Family" that firebombed the University of Washington Center for Urban Horticulture in 2001. Waters served as a lookout, hiding in bushes near the building. She initially refused to cooperate with the government and was convicted on two counts of arson. However, in 2001, she agreed to testify against her former boyfriend, Justin Solandz and the other eco-terrorists. Waters faced up to 65 years in prison for her crimes but was sentenced to six years and ordered to pay $6 mil. in restitution. She's an associate or former associate of eco-terrorists Lacey Phillabaum, Jennifer Kolar and of course Justin Solandz. Crime must pay as Waters is able to afford a nice $500K+ house in Oakland. She's said to be an accomplished violinist and may currently teach violin. Waters came from a solid middle class family in Philadelphia but attended left-wing Evergreen State University in Washington where she became head of an animal rights group. She began protesting at environmental "actions" while at Evergreen, even participated in a tree sit-in where she played the violin for her comrades. Some sources show Water's surname as "Amr" so she may have remarried although her long-time husband is listed in property records as owner of the house she lives in.
