Kevin T. Tubbs (born Jan '69) was a member of the radical environmentalist group Earth Liberation Front (ELF) who was sentenced to nearly 13 years in prison for arson crimes committed during the "Green Scare" period in the late '90s and early 2000s. Tubbs admitted to nine arson attacks and cooperated with federal prosecutors to get a reduced sentence. His arsons included attacks on a forest ranger station, a Eugene police station, an auto dealership, a tree farm, a lumber company and a horse meat plant. He also admitted to participating in the "battle" of Warner Creek where eco-terrorists set up barricades to prevent logging on an Oregon mountain. Tubbs was also ordered to pay over $10 mil. in restitution. He had priors for trespassing and disorderly conduct which may have been protest related. Tubbs lived in Oregon at the time he committed his ecoterrorist acts but now lives in the Omaha suburb of Bellevue where he works as a chauffeur for Marriot.
