Unfortunately, there are quite a few people with this name and we aren't certain which Fred Williams he is. Robert "Rob" James Rasmussen (DOB: 11/25/83) is a member of the Mid-Missouri chapter of the John Brown Gun Club, an extreme radical group that teaches leftists how to shoot. He ran for a Columbia, Missouri City Council seat in 2016. He was interviewed by the National Review about a U of Missouri professor who threatened violence against reporters and he said, "Overall, I’m OK with actual violence, like actual political violence … I’m OK — I’d be fine if we brought back the guillotine and cut off the Koch brothers’ heads.That would be OK with me. I think that would be OK." He added that protesters occupying public spaces should have the right to shut out the media. He claimed in a 2018 interview to be antifascist the same way America was antifascist in WWII although Rasmussen certainly doesn't seem to be anti-communist like the pre-war and WWII antifascists. He's worked for non-profits much of his adult life. As of 2022, he appears to have been working for or volunteering for the Missouri State Historical Society. Strangely, he seems to be a gold bug, someone who likes investing in gold.
