Carl M. Dix (DOB: 07/31/48) was one of the organizers of the Charlottesville Unite the Right counter protest in 2017. He's the national spokesman for the Revolutionary Communist Party, an extreme left-wing group that preaches violent revolution. He's also the co-founder of Refuse Fascism. In the late 1960s as an Army soldier, he refused to go to Vietnam and served time in Leavenworth. After he was released he became a labor organizer at a steel mill. Benabe describes himself as, "an Ethno-mathematician, public intellectual, author, school leader, social justice activist and creator of Do-The-Right-Thing-Pedagogy."
