He was arrested along with 48 others in 2011 at the Portland Occupy protest known as November 17 or N17. He was arrested at a Chase Bank branch for disorderly conduct. Although he now lives in San Antonio, he was a Portland resident at the time of his arrest. He has arrests for DUI and possession of marijuana in Texas.
