Notes

Amin Jalal Chaoui traveled to Atlanta to participate in the Cop City protests. He was arrested at an Antifa riot in March 2023 and charged with domestic terrorism. His LinkedIn profile indicates he's volunteered for pro-abortion groups in the past. According to court filings, he's an alcoholic Muslim who attends AA meetings. His family is probably from Algeria originally. Chaoui is a common Berber name in that country. He holds a B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University. He's worked mostly in low level jobs such as retail sales or as a waiter, but he appears to have been working as an insurance agent for Bankers Life at the time of the riot. Prior to his arrest, he lived in a pleasant little house in the Montrose Heights neighborhood of Richmond with his roommates. https://archive.ph/PhS9w https://archive.ph/YgIEU https://archive.ph/wmUk0#selection-955.0-955.11 https://archive.ph/7GWw3 https://www.linkedin.com/in/amin-chaoui
