Wendy Katherine Steeves (DOB: 01/16/65) helped man, or to be PC, person, a "safe space" for rioters created by the Charlottesville Unitarian parish. The church also thoughtfully provided day care for the children of rioters. Steeves was a secretary for the church at the time of Unite the Right. In 2019, she enrolled in a seminary and currently (2022) works as a spiritual director at a religious retreat. Despite the fact she worked for a Unitarian parish, she claims to be a life-long Episcopalian and was probably ordained in the left-wing Episcopal church.
