He's a Charlottesville area "anti-racist" activist who participated in the violent counter-protest against the Unite the Right rally. He was mentioned in the report commissioned by the Charlottesville City Council after the rally. Jenkins later wrote an article claiming Richard Spencer should be banned from all university campuses. He's a UVA professor in the Department of Religious Studies.
