Yet another socialist professor at an Ivy League college. As reported on ProfessorWatchlist.org, Zenkus was one of the organizers of the Occupy Wall Street movement. He's an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Social Work at Columbia University and has also taught at Adelphi University in the Graduate School of Social Work. His Columbia University bio describes Zenkus as an activist on issues of racial justice and income equality. He claims to have been trained by Al Gore as a presenter in the Climate Reality Project. Zenkus gave a Ted talk at which he claimed capitalism was harmful to children. Even though he's left-wing, he posted a video in May 2020 critical of Joe Biden's predatory sexual behavior and claimed he's an "expert in the fields of sexual violence family violence, and trauma," when it's not at all clear that he is. Due to the video, the Columbia student newspaper mildly criticized Zenkus for posing as an expert in a field he isn't trained in.
