April Renee Goggans is affiliated with Shutdown DC and received a social media call-out by one of the group's leaders. She's also the lead organizer for BLM DC. She stated DC's BLM group wasn't involved in the George Floyd riots even though she claimed there was a drop-off in attendance at the riots/illegal protests after police fought back against violent protesters.
