He's an ELF member who was arrested in 2001 as part of a group that firebombed logging and cement trucks in Oregon. Sherman's father, a 9-1-1 operator in Portland, contacted the FBI with suspicions about his son which set of an investigation. Although notorious eco-terrorist Tre Arrow was later fingered as the ringleader by his associates, Sherman was identified as the leader during early questioning by police. Sherman, along with his friends Jeremy Rosenbloom and Angela Cesario turned state's witness and testified against Arrow in exchange for lighter sentences. Like the other snitches, he was sentenced to 41 months in Federal prison even though he was facing 30 years. Sherman's mother was raped by a fellow cadet while she was training to become a sheriff's deputy. Does this explain his hatred for cops and other authorities? While a student at Portland State, Sherman worked for the Ralph Nadar presidential campaign. Sherman met and befriended Arrow and became a radical environmentalist in the early 2000s. Sherman was also arrested for climbing atop the Lumberman's Building Center in Clackamas, OR in early 2001. Sherman still lives in the Portland area. Strangely, the state of Oregon issued him a hunting permit in 2009 even though convicted felons can't possess weapons. Cole has numerous priors for burglary, theft, DUI, identity theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, harassment, criminal trespass, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and others. She was also flagged as mentally ill in one police report although it's unclear that she's been adjudicated as mentally ill. Given her appearance, it should come as no surprise that she has multiple prior arrests for possession of meth. Full name Jacob Michael Dacks, AKA Jake Dacks. This Portland resident was arrested along with 48 others in 2011 at the Portland Occupy protest known as November 17 or N17. He was charged with criminal trespassing for actions inside a Wells Fargo bank branch but the charge was dismissed. He was the garden manager for the Washington Youth Garden's Green Ambassador Program in D.C. in the mid 2010s. He was affiliated with DC Stampede, an organization that helped organize the J20 protest in 2017. He presumably took part in the riots but doesn't show up in arrest records. Dacks was also an organizer with the Portland Central America Solidarity Committee (PCASC) during the same time period. PCASC is a Sandinista aligned organization that was "born" on the same date the Sandinistas came to power in Nicaragua. In 2013 he took part in a one day "hunger strike" to show solidarity with some cause. Dacks took a bike trip through Central America during the pandemic, probably to escape Oregon's draconian Chinese COVID lockdown. He wore a full beard as recently as 2020 but was clean shaven in his youth and he looked markedly different.
