Elisabeth Harper Epps (DOB: 10/08/79) is a Democratic Colorado State Representative who participated in the violent George Floyd rioting in Denver in 2020. She claimed to have been gassed and shot multiple times. She later filed an excessive force lawsuit against the Denver PD with the help of the ACLU. The trees were in the way of a planned University of California football training facility. Given the sorry state of Cal's football program I think the facility deserved the right of way.
