Rev. Dr. Robin Noelle Tanner (DOB: 12/08/83) is an openly lesbian Unitarian minister at Beacon Unitarian Church in Summit New Jersey. She was also the leader of the Charlotte Clergy Coalition and attended a 2016 riot in Charlotte. Tanner claims to have been near a protester who was shot by police and was later tear gassed at the riot. At the time of the riot, she was the minister at a Charlotte Unitarian church. In 2017, she was arrested after she dumped a coffin outside the offices of Congressional Republicans to protest changes to Obamacare. She gave a long online sermon in 2021 titled "With You in the Terror" in which she referred to the 1/6 riots as sedition.
