DeVante Rushwan Hill (DOB: 07/01/92) is an activist and preacher who was one of the leaders of a May 2020 protest march in Memphis that turned into a riot. He was accused by fellow rioters of grandstanding for publicity. Hill was picked up in 2021 by police for violating a prosecution diversion agreement as well as testing positive for drugs. Hill was arrested in 2016 for filing a false police report involving a stolen laptop. He has a charge for criminal impersonation, but it appears to be traffic related rather than an identity theft.
